Roots Cafe, a coffee-shop chain in Galway city and county formerly known as Cafe Express, commissioned us to logo redesign and rebranding for a distinct and recognizable identity for their Claregalway location. They sought to meld coffee imagery with their local Galway roots into the design. Following initial concepts, they selected a logo featuring a coffee mug’s circular shape merged with tree roots in a maroon and white colour scheme, reflecting Galway’s colours to emphasise their local connection. Satisfied with the design, we proceeded to create exterior signage for a new city location and various branded items.
